The University of Amsterdam's Institute for Dutch as a Second Language/Instituut voor Nederlands als tweede taal (INTT) offers a wide range of Language and Culture courses for foreign students and staff. They are also open to educated foreign language speakers who are not planning to pursue any other course of study at the University of Amsterdam.

We also develop special courses for UvA students whose native language is Dutch and who wish to improve their academic writing or speaking skills.

Situated in one of the university buildings in the heart of the city, the INTT allows you to experience Dutch Language and Culture in a historical setting.
